Ordering wholesale vintage sight-unseen takes trust. You're paying before you see exactly what's inside — and if you're new to sourcing this way, it's fair to ask: what happens if a bale doesn't match what was promised?
Here's exactly what we do when that happens, and how we back every order we ship.

Every bale is graded and checked before it leaves our warehouse.
First, a quick reality check: some variance is normal
Secondhand clothing isn't a factory product. A 5–10% variance in grading is expected and normal across the wholesale vintage industry, a handful of items landing slightly outside their stated grade isn't a defect, it's a normal part of sorting real, previously-worn garments at volume.
Our guarantee exists for the cases that go beyond that, genuine grade mismatches, damaged or defective items, or an order that doesn't match its listing.
Two different situations, two different processes
We handle this in two ways, depending on what's actually gone wrong.
1. Damaged or defective items
If specific items arrive damaged or defective:
- Send us photos and a short description of the affected items.
- We'll offer either a replacement (with return shipping covered by us) or a partial refund.
- These claims are typically processed within 5–7 business days.

Every item is checked before it's sorted into a grade.
2. Grade A returns
Only Grade A items qualify for a standard return. If a Grade A item doesn't meet the condition it was graded at:
- Report it within 5 working days of receiving your order.
- Returns must be for the full order quantity, partial returns aren't accepted.
- Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
- Once we've received and confirmed the return, you'll get store credit toward a future order.
Grade B, C, and D items are sold as-is at prices that reflect their condition, and aren't eligible for return under this policy, that's part of why they're priced the way they are.

Every order is packed and checked before it ships out.
Want to change your mind before it ships?
Exchanges are accepted before dispatch, so if you need to swap an item on your order, reach out as early as possible after purchase.
Why we can offer this
We can stand behind this because grading isn't an afterthought for us, it's a step every single item goes through before it's packed. When a claim comes in, we're checking it against our own sorting records, not just taking a guess.
That's also why genuine issues are rare. Most of what we ship matches its grade, because the grading happens before the bale is sealed, not after a complaint arrives.
What this means for you
Order with confidence, even if you're new to buying vintage wholesale sight-unseen.
Know your options upfront — Grade A returns work one way, damaged items work another, and now you know both.
Keep the 5-day window in mind — for Grade A returns, reporting promptly matters.
We built this because we'd want the same thing as a buyer: a real, clear answer, not a "final sale, no returns" note buried in the checkout page.
